Greetings! I am a native mid-westerner, having made my home within shouting distance of the Great Lakes. I am a father and grandfather of three. I have served on ECFA's staff since 2001. Earlier in my career I served as an adoption worker. That has given me an appreciation for what goes into an adoption and how the lives of families and children can be changed by it. As a Christian, I am thankful that the word "adoption" describes God's invitation to us.
Hello! I feel so blessed that God has led me to ECFA. It is a true honor to serve families as they pursue building their family through adoption. Although I am a native of the Chicago area, I grew up in a small town in western Michigan. I received my B.S. in Psychology from Calvin College. I later pursued my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Lewis University. For the past 14 years, I have been working with children of all developmental stages as well as children who have been abused or neglected. My life has been greatly impacted by the children and families I have had the opportunity to work with, and I look forward to working with you as well!
Hello! It is truly a blessing that God has led me to ECFA and given me the opportunity to serve families throughout their adoption journey. I received my Master of Social Work degree through Jane Addam’s College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I grew up in a small town in central Illinois, and I have lived in the western suburbs of Chicago since 1999. I am passionate about social justice issues, advocacy, and working with and for children and families. My life has been greatly impacted by the families that I have previously served in these areas. It is a true joy to be able to assist you in this process and to be able to share this experience with you!
Hello! I am delighted with the opportunity to assist families through the adoption process. I received my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School. I have been serving families as an adoption worker in varying capacities for the past 6 years. I am currently also working in private practice and have experience in counseling children and adolescents in the foster care system and those touched by adoption, marital and family therapy, Attachment Disorder, ADHD, and grief/loss in children and adults especially as it pertains to childhood abuse. I truly enjoy teaching on issues related to parenting, adoption, and marital concerns.
It is a privilege and a blessing to walk alongside your family throughout the adoption process. This is an incredible, God-given journey and I look forward to sharing it with you. I was born in Odessa, Ukraine and moved to the United States to attend Kuyper College in Grand Rapids, Michigan where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Theology and Communications. I more recently attended the Jane Addams School of Social Work at UIC and graduated with a Master of Social Work degree. Throughout my college and post college years I was involved in working first-hand with several orphanages in Ukraine, giving me a passion for bringing orphans to loving families.
Welcome! I am pleased to assist you through our Post Legal Adoption Services program. I am a native of the south suburbs of Chicago and a mom to two young adult daughters who God brought into my life through foster care-adoption when they were seven and eight years old. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Trinity Christian College where I majored in Sociology and minored in Psychology and Theology. After serving as a social worker at a residential school for physically and mentally challenged children for several years, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with my Master of Social Work degree with a focus on child welfare. It has been my privilege to work with families and individuals at ECFA for over 25 years.
