Research indicates that it is in the best interest of children to remain in the care of their parents whenever possible. ECFA's Intact Team provides intensive services to families in DuPage County who are at risk of having their children removed from their home and placed in foster care. The team provides in-home services and referrals to local community resources in order to help the parents correct the conditions that brought the case to the attention of DCFS. We also monitor the home closely to ensure the safety of the children.
