Adoption was something I dreamed about since 3rd grade! I had a teacher who adopted a child, and I have a few cousins who are adopted as well. At such a young age, I saw adoption as beautiful and I could not imagine starting my family any other way.

When I met Andrew, he had the same vision for wanting to have a family through adoption. We started the adoption process in February of 2022, and we adopted our two sweet girls in March of 2023. At the time, Halo was 22 months, and Mya was 9 months. They brought us more joy than we could ever imagine.

Life is now crazy, and filled with sleepless nights, picking up toys, and potty training, but it is also filled with afternoons at parks, bike rides, trips to our favorite ice cream shop, and chasing around two silly girls that make our lives so much brighter. It is worth all the risks and the unknowns along the way because what’s on the other side is truly beautiful. You just need to take the next step!
