Development Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Associate to join our team. The Development Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's fundraising efforts and building relationships with donors and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about nonprofit work and eager to contribute to our mission.

Duties:


- Assist in the implementation of fundraising strategies and campaigns
- Conduct research on potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities
- Manage donor databases and ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising events
- Assist in writing grant proposals and reports
- Coordinate volunteer activities and maintain volunteer management systems
- Develop digital marketing materials and campaigns
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
- Provide administrative support to the development team as needed

Experience:


- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, public relations, marketing)
- Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
- Experience with donor databases and CRM software
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and platforms
- Excellent research skills for identifying potential donors and grant opportunities
- Ability to write compelling grant proposals and reports
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers
- Experience in event planning is a plus
