Full Time Receptionist

We are looking for a full-time receptionist to join our team!

 

The receptionist provides the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, offering a welcoming and professional presence for the agency. This position also supports the daily operations of the office to ensure efficient functioning.

 

The essential duties of this position include but is not limited to:

Opening the office at 8:30am on a daily basis, managing incoming calls, greets guests, in a warm and professional manner and informs staff that their client has arrived, receives mail and packages and distributes to the correct individuals, assists with deposits and receipt letters, assists with mailings when needed, maintains the cleanliness of the reception and lobby areas, ensures staff are appropriately signing in and out of the office, assists with general administrative and clerical tasks that assist both the Agency Administrative Assistant and the Programs Administrative Assistant, participates in monthly staff meetings and bimonthly support staff meetings, and cross trains with Program Administrative Assistant and Agency Administrative Assistant.

                                                                                                                                                

Position Information: 

  • Non-Exempt position

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

  • Pay Range: $19 to $22/hour, dependent upon experience.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • High School diploma

  • Minimum two years of experience in a support staff position is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to work within data management systems

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (e.g., office supplies, case files, paper reams)

  • Ability to stand for a minimum 30 minutes (potentially longer) in order to complete various tasks.

  • Must be able to complete filing, collate documents for case files, make photocopies regularly, retrieve case files and return them to filing cabinets (up to 5 drawer vertical file cabinets), and operate office equipment.

  • Work performed primarily in a standard office environment.

Work Schedule / Hours:

·         This is an office-based position

·         The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm
